Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Kappa Alpha Ventures Private Limited ("Invoise", "we", "us" or "our"). By creating an account or using Invoise, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Invoise for a company or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it and to provide the information you enter.
The service
Invoise helps businesses prepare invoices and estimates, calculate configured taxes, create PDFs and reports, record payments, and share or deliver documents. Features may depend on your plan, country, configuration, and third-party availability.
Tax calculations and classifications are tools based on the information and selections you provide. You must review each document before finalizing it and obtain professional advice where needed.
Your account and businesses
- Provide accurate account and business information and keep it current.
- Protect sign-in links, OTPs, API keys, connected applications, and devices.
- Use organization access only for businesses you are authorized to manage.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or credential misuse.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and credentials unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Your data and documents
You retain your rights in information and content you provide. You grant us the limited permission needed to host, process, render, transmit, back up, and otherwise operate the service for you.
Finalized documents are intentionally made resistant to editing so that the record you issued remains stable. Corrections may require a new document, credit note, debit note, replacement, or other compliant record rather than changing the original.
Email and WhatsApp delivery
When you direct Invoise to send a document, you confirm that you may use the destination for that purpose and that the recipient has agreed where consent is required. Delivery is not guaranteed: a provider, network, destination, or recipient setting may reject or delay a message.
A recipient may reply STOP to stop WhatsApp messages sent through Invoise across all businesses, and START to resume them. A recipient may also use our Data Deletion Instructions.
Plans, payment, and refunds
Prices, taxes, plan periods, and usage allowances are shown before purchase. Unless checkout says otherwise, paid access is prepaid and does not renew automatically. Hard plan limits may stop an action when its allowance is reached.
Refund eligibility and processing timelines are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Acceptable use
You must not use Invoise to:
- Break the law, evade tax, commit fraud, mislead a recipient, or impersonate another person.
- Send spam, harassment, malware, unlawful content, or messages after a recipient opts out.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security, limits, or access controls.
- Upload content you do not have the right to use or disclose.
Availability and third parties
We work to keep Invoise available and secure, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security events, internet failures, and services such as hosting, authentication, email, WhatsApp, payment, and browser-rendering providers may affect availability.
Third-party services have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for a third party's independent service, but remain responsible for choosing and integrating providers with reasonable care.
Responsibility and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Invoise is provided on an "as available" basis without warranties that cannot reasonably be given for a hosted business service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or loss caused by inaccurate inputs, unauthorized account use, third-party outages, or a failure to review a document before issue.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Invoise and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, abuse, unlawful activity, or a material breach, usually after notice when the situation allows it.
Ending access does not erase obligations or records that must remain for tax, accounting, disputes, fraud prevention, or other legal reasons. See our Data Deletion Instructions.
Changes, law, and contact
We may update these terms as the service or law changes. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and communicated through the service where required. Continued use after an effective update means the updated terms apply.
These terms are governed by applicable Indian law. Courts with jurisdiction over Bengaluru, Karnataka will have jurisdiction unless mandatory law gives you another forum. Questions may be sent through our Contact Details page.
